Need Add reference to and create page for World Scientists' Warning to Humanity : A Second Notice
[edit]It seems very pertinent to add this new warning edited 13 november 2017World Scientists’ Warning to Humanity: A Second Notice. I created this comment because I am not expert in editing in English in Wikipedia. Tk you if someone can dot it !--GIEMCASA (talk) 06:29, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi GIEMCASA. I have been asked by Alliance of World Scientists (issuer of 2nd warning) to create this page. I agree that (due to its importance) it deserves a separate page. But does this need more discussion, editorial 'go ahead' etc, or shall I just create one? I haven't created a wiki page yet, but I think wiki have good instructions for this. - Hi Ivanalison,
- As long as you are careful with WP:CONFLICT, I reckon WP:BB applies: go for it. Developing the new article will require editing information off this one. Consider involving the relevant taskforce, WP:CCTF, before you start. Leave a note on their Talk page to see if (1) they agree with your idea, and (2) anyone is willing to help you. Wait a week to see if there's any negative response. If not, create away! If this is your first article, you might find reading WP:YFA helpful. I wish you well on your journey.Te Karere (talk) 06:55, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Te Karere,
- Thanks for the info. After a re-think, I have added the 2nd Scientists warning to the existing page, but put it at the top as it is the more relevant warning. Hope this works for all. The CEO of the Alliance of scientists is also due to review soon. Additionally, he wants a separate personal wiki page (Stuart Scott), so your links will come in handy. - You are very welcome.Te Karere (talk) 00:30, 6 October 2018 (UTC)

Please update with "World Scientists' Warning of a Climate Emergency 2022"
[edit]It's currently featured in 2022 in science like so:
At the 30th anniversary of the World Scientists' Warning to Humanity, scientists conclude that "We are now at 'code red' on planet Earth", facing a climate emergency, warning citizens and world leaders to take necessary actions with information about tracked "recent climate-related disasters, assess[ed] planetary vital signs, and [...] policy recommendations".[1][2]
